Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer with strong experience in programming, setting up, and troubleshooting CNC machines. The role involves creating precision programs, interpreting complex blueprints, and collaborating with engineers and clients to deliver high-quality products. The ideal candidate must have solid programming expertise and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in CNC Programming, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline).
  • 6–8 years of experience in CNC programming.

Work Hours & Shifts

  • General Shift: 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM
  • Morning Shift: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

Note:

  • 2 hours of overtime (OT) provided daily.
  • Special OT available on Sundays.
  • Flexibility to work in any shift based on allocation and work requirements.

Work Days

  • Monday to Saturday.
  • Sunday work will be on a need basis only.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹45,000 (based on skills and learning attitude).

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and read technical blueprints to determine machining operations and sequences.
  • Program CNC machines using relevant computer software.
  • Conduct test runs to validate program accuracy and product quality.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve machine or program-related issues.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and tool sharpening.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with engineers, production staff, and clients regarding program requirements.

Must-Have Skills

  1. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  2. Proficiency in CNC programming software and systems.
  3. Experience in conducting product tests for design compliance.
  4. Strong troubleshooting and machine repair skills.
  5. Basic machine maintenance (cleaning, sharpening, upkeep).
  6. Effective communication with engineers and clients.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  1. Advanced computer programming and strong reading comprehension skills.
  2. Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  3. Proficiency in mathematics (algebra, trigonometry, physics).
  4. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  5. Knowledge of job-specific safety measures and practices.
  6. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
