Roles and Responsibilities
Experience in B2C portals / e-commerce is a must.
Role:- Ensure
on-page optimization best practice implementation. Manage
implementation and maintenance of: title & metatags, URL
redirects,404 errors, robots.txt file.
- Generating XML sitemap and submit it in major search engines.
- Perform keyword research and analysis from Google ad words tool and other commonly used tools; develop ongoing SEO content initiatives.
- Working
with content team to deliver optimized content that achieves our goals
related to traffic, revenue and new customer growth, along with
improvement onsearch engine visibility.
- Develop great off-page SEO
and link-building strategies, link architecture and ensure spider
friendliness of the platform by monitoring organic search performance of
the site and top competitor sites on a daily basis.
- Develop
reports on organic metrics, and possess working knowledge of commonly
used analytical tools (Google Analytics,Ahrefs etc.).
- Have a deep knowledge of ecommerce and SEO best practices including competitive strategies, marketing, usability testing.
- Manage community building, forums, social sharing and bookmarking.
- Preempt & remedy SEO challenges for e-commerce, including:
Ensuring the optimisation of new product pages
Dealing with disappearing pages (out-of- stock products, oldcategories, 404 errors)
Dealing with page cannibalisation (duplicate pages, duplicate meta
titles) - Good command over written and spoken English.
Desired Candidate Profile:- 2 to 4 years of Experience in SEO On-page & Off-page.
- Expert in Analytics, Webmaster Tools and Ad Words
- Experience in B2C portals / e-commerce must.
- Complete understanding of search engine trends & Google Updates including the latest algorithms
- Expert Knowledge of SEO, SMO & PPC.
- Strong knowledge of & link building experience.
- Expert in technical website auditing & web analytics.
- Conversant with different SEO tool for keyword research, competitor research.
- Competent in various advanced tools for SEO research & analysis.
- Experience creating SEO-focused product requirement documents.
- A solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO.
- Targeted keyword SEO
to bring targeted visitors within a minimum time. Should be able to
garner sustainable organic traffic with improvements every quarter
