Position: Construction Manager – Electrical

Salary Package: AED 16,000 – 18,000 per month

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager – Electrical to manage electrical construction activities for Oil & Gas and substation projects in the GCC. The ideal candidate must have strong site execution, construction planning, manpower coordination, safety compliance, and client coordination experience.

The candidate should have previously worked as a Construction Manager on electrical projects, preferably involving substations, Oil & Gas facilities, EPC works, and high-standard client environments. Prior ADNOC project experience and a valid UAE driving license will be considered added advantages.

• Manage and supervise complete electrical construction activities at project site.
• Lead site execution for substation, electrical infrastructure, cabling, equipment installation, testing support, and related construction works.
• Coordinate daily construction activities with project management, engineering, QA/QC, HSE, planning, procurement, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Ensure work is completed as per approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, project specifications, safety standards, and schedule.
• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly construction plans.
• Allocate manpower, equipment, tools, and materials effectively to achieve project milestones.
• Review construction progress and take corrective actions for delays, resource shortages, or technical issues.
• Ensure all site activities comply with Oil & Gas safety requirements and client-specific HSE procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality workmanship across all electrical construction activities.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspection requests, approvals, punch list closure, and documentation.
• Support testing and commissioning teams during pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.
• Attend client, consultant, subcontractor, and internal progress meetings.
• Identify site risks, construction bottlenecks, and execution challenges, and resolve them proactively.
• Maintain proper site records, progress reports, manpower reports, material status, and construction documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of work within project schedule, approved budget, quality standards, and safety requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of GCC experience in Oil & Gas electrical construction projects.
• Must have previous experience working as a Construction Manager – Electrical.
• Strong experience in substation construction and electrical site execution is required.
• Experience in Oil & Gas project environments is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of electrical construction standards, project drawings, method statements, QA/QC procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Strong understanding of site coordination, manpower planning, subcontractor management, and construction sequencing.
• ADNOC project experience will be an added advantage.
• Valid UAE Driving License will be an added advantage.
• Must be ready to join immediately after client interview and approval, within a maximum of 20 days.

The ideal candidate should be an Electrical Engineer with proven GCC Oil & Gas experience, strong substation construction exposure, and hands-on experience managing site construction teams. Candidates currently available in the GCC and able to join quickly will be preferred.
